An exhibition to showcase the approaches, methodologies, and many other interventions which are targeted at reducing maternal and child mortality reduction, this event was also an official launch of the safe motherhood campaign dubbed "Mothers Alive". It’s a two year communications campaign funded by the United States Agency for International Development in partnership with the Zambian government.

Transaid was invited through MAMaZ to showcase the tools and equipment used to bridge the gap of transport for communities that are far away from the health centres. It was a very good time at this moment we still had the eRanger Motor Cycle Ambulance and Bicycle Ambulance which have not yet left Lusaka for distribution to the districts.

The Guest of honour was The First Lady of Zambia, Dr. Christine Kaseba-Sata, accompanied by the Minister of Community Development and Social Warefare and Senior Chiefs from Lusaka district.
